For literacy we had to pick a NZ trailblazer to email some questions to. I picked Stan Walker because he is the first person that comes to my head when I think trailblazer.

Today Tawhirimateo  went to the stardome and I learned that water is made from stars. something , nothing and radiation and there is 1,380 stars in the matariki but we can only see 6. it was fun I learnt a lot but I can’t remember all of it because there  was so much.

In literacy I have been learning  to extend my sentences using because, but and so. It is fun because I like learning about people.

We have been learning to describe one phase of the moon with  a haiku.

I enjoyed writing the haiku because it wasn’t that hard so I got it over and done with.
