This is what I have been doing for cybersmart. I made a quiz for you to try. We have been learning what to do online if things go wrong.

In 1847 Kate Sheppard thought that it’s not fair that women can’t vote so she collected some people signatures and she wrote articles. She gave the woman signatures to parliament and the government said that woman can vote. Cake shipping traveled all around New Zealand to ask people to sign the petition. In 1893 women were allowed to vote.

For Monday mashup I did clay modeling. I learnt how to score it slip it slip and blend. Have you ever done clay modeling? I made a bowl and a lid.

My Flexi-Physics Creation

In the last few weeks, we have been learning about kinetic, potential and gravitational energy. 

First, we read some books, then we did some experiments and answered some questions.

Finally, I got to make my own creation. I decided to make a catapult

First I had to  get a hand full of Popsicle sticks , 3 rubber bands, a spork. Then we had to put it  together. Then i was done.

Akomanga – Classroom

On Thursday afternoons, we learn te reo Māori. This term, we have been learning commands and words to use in our classroom – akomanga. 

We have been practicing our te reo Māoi  

I chose to work on a script.

I think I did a good job because I worked well with my buddy. I larley finished it.

Flexi Physics Experiment

In our experiment we compared how high each ball bounced. In my group, the golf ball bounces the highest because it was hard.

When we held the golf ball,  because we put more force.

When we bounced the ball,  it bounced even higher it had kinetic energy.

for my Samoan patterns I did this.  next time i will go faster and  i will make it better. i was learning how to news lines google drawings.

Solar Energy Experiment

In science we wrapped up thermometers in four different colours black, red, tin foil and white. We left them in the sun for 15 minutes to see which paper heated the thermometer up the most. 

Which colour made the thermometer heat up the most? The black paper was the most heated.

Why? Because the darker colours attract the sun more than the light colours.

For Monday mashup we did a trailer movie is called white rose. In my group there was Ava, Carys, Nyah, Sophie and Chayna Jade. me. My group planed what we were going to do in the movie.  It was kind of hard to think what we were going to do in the movie. white rose means death that is way it is cold white rose. we tried not to laugh. Next time I think we should try get it done faster. We work together by asking what everybody wants to do. i did murderer with Ava and Sophie. Chayna Jade and Nyah were good.  Some of the time Ava was good but then she was bad.
